New function to communicate with your tech is now online and sports enhanced methods to convey information to your store Tech.
How To
Start by obtaining the tablet in your store, and locating the Tech Communication icon, which is in three places:
- The main CEC Connect page.
- The Intranet page
- The Tech Planner menu.
The APP will open on your screen and there are Three Sections you can use any or all of them. You can Enter Notes in the top box, Take A Picture, or Make a Quick Video.
When taking a picture or making a video, simply select the [Choose File] button then select the option “Take Photo or Video”
Then take your picture or start your video using the Tablets Camera. When making videos, keep them short (under 20 seconds) and remember that audio is also being recorded.
When your message to the Tech is complete, click SUBMIT button and it is sent.
This can be used by anyone within CEC’s stores at anytime. Now your GRA’s can actually show the tech what the issues with a game is.
Store Tech Instructions
When you log into the Tech Planner, you will see this button You have NEW Messages, this is letting you know there are new messages you have not seen yet. Press the button to access the Message Center to view them.
You can also access the messages via the Message Center too.
You will see a list of all available messages to choose from. To read a message tap on that message.
When you are done reviewing the message, you have an option to Either UPDATE or DELETE. Using the UPDATE option will de-flag the message as new and retain it for future viewing and DELETE will remove the message from the Tech Planner. Please note that the retention policy is 10 days for saving a Message, then it will be auto-deleted from the system.
