Checking Gift Card Balance

Using the Balance Check Website to check gift card and Groupon balances.

Description

Guests may visit a store to use a gift card, but the message “Err $0.00 balance” may show, or any error message may show when trying to process a payment. Checking the Gift Card for a balance is good way to confirm the gift card has funds.

Solution

To solve this issue, do the following:

1. Open a browser such as Chrome or Edge and go to the following address.

2. Once you have opened the page, communicate with the cast member or manager and get the gift card or Groupon card number and pin number and enter it into the respective fields. The pin can be located by scratching off the strip on the back of the card. Also check the box that says “I am not a robot” to verify a user is not a bot then click “Check Balance”.
   

3. As you can see in the photo below, the Groupon has a balance of $0.00.
   

4. You can also click “View transaction history” to show when the groupon or gift card was purchased and used.
