Summary
This is a check list on what needs to be done when shutting down for a hurricane, any inclement weather or event and steps to restore the site.
Solution
Hurricane Shut Down Check List: After completing step 1, please contact the service desk for assistance with EOD.
To shut down the store properly do the following:
Store Responsibility
1. Confirm Cash Drawers are closed and ALL Employees are Clocked Out
2. Call the Service Desk @ 972-258-5451 to so that the Service Desk can run EOD on the Aloha BOH computer
Service Desk Responsibility
3. The Service Desk will log into CFC and run EOD and confirmed EOD completed
4. The Service Desk will then Import Sales and Labor into NBO
Store Responsibility
5. Shutdown all Front of House Terminals and unplugged from Power
6. Shut down all kiosks, PPRs and the PPC and unplugged from Power
7. Shut down Back Office PC
8. Shut down PPS in the network Rack
9. Unplugged the UPS in the network Rack from power
10. Unplugged the Primary Internet modem from Power
11. Flip any breakers off that powers the POS or games equipment. This will help ensure that power issues during the bad weather do not cause issues with equipment.
Restore Check List:
Store Responsibility
1. Flip any breakers on that power POS or games equipment.
2. Modems plugged back into power
3. Rack UPS plugged back into power
4. All Equipment has power and is on in the rack
5. All network connections in the Play Pass server are online
6. Back-office computer is powered on and loads to normal screens
7. Master terminal is powered on and is on current day.
8. Rest of the terminals loaded to floating logo after being powered on one by one
Service Desk Responsibility
9. Service desk technician will check all systems to make sure everything is at 100% and troubleshoot with the store to resolve those issues
Store Responsibility
10. Turn on the manager's panel, kiosks, ppr and all games. Tap game to confirm that games are up.
