CX-5 Onboard Reimage process

Summary:

How to reimage a CX-5 with onboard reimage tool.

Solution:

1: Ensure the terminal is powered off. The Power Switch is located on the bottom left corner of the screen of the CX-5.  Power on the terminal, when the green NCR screen appears, press and hold the button adjacent to the power button until a small black box appears, then release it.

Step 2: On the main screen, click on "Save" or "Load Image."

Step 3: Once the loading process is complete, you will be prompted to enter a password. The factory default password is Recovery1234.

Step 4: touch the up arrow pointing to the image of a screen.

Step 5: Select Factory for the image to load.

Step 6: Select Yes to apply the format the hard drive and apply the image.

Step 7: The application will verify and apply the image.

Step 8: Confirm that the "Image" load is complete by touching OK.

Step 9: Reboot the POS.
