To solve this issue, do the following:

2. Discount coupons (Food & Beverage and Extra Points) have a limit of one of each type per transaction. This limitation is stated on the redeemable itself and must be enforced with our Guests. The POS system cannot prevent multiple redemptions (otherwise ALL redemptions would have to take place on the different transactions, which no one wants). Most Guests will only have one discount coupon of each type in their inbox at one time, but it is important to ensure your teams are aware of this “one per type” limit and are stopping Guests from using multiple discounts of each type in one transaction if they attempt to redeem more than one. Cashiers can direct Guests to the legal language on the reward or the terms and conditions available on our website if they want to see where this policy is written.
